How Our Pet Guardian Program Works
By establishing an insurance policy, will, or trust, funds are set aside to use only in the event you cannot look after your pets. Any unused funds are returned to the beneficiary of your choice, once your pet's needs are met and they find their new forever home. You may also designate a friend or family member to work with us on your behalf and receive regular updates. We assist with preparing the necessary documentation to authorize us to activate your care plan and accept custody of your pets.
Animals are given any medical care they may need and all of the love and attention you would want them to receive in your absence. Pets, including senior companions, have immediate placement in a loving home with the goal of finding a new permanent home. Since many people are reluctant to adopt an older or infirm animal, this may require extra time. Using our pet bequest service guarantees your animals continue living comfortably, rather than caged in a shelter. In addition, we regularly monitor your pet's level of care to make sure they are happy and healthy while we are searching.
Registration & Fees
FurEver Pet Guardian requires a one-time fee of $249 to register up to three pets and $59 for any additional animals.
Our annual fee to maintain pet care arrangements is $99. We keep all of your pet's information current.
